OUR HISTORY
CRSA, an architecture firm serving San Luis Obispo County since 1986, is now Hunter Smith Architecture.
Hunter Smith Architecture was formed in 2021 as the successor company to CRSA Architecture. Craig Smith, the founder of CRSA Architecture, works with Hunter Smith Architecture as a Consultant Architect; we are fortunate to have his continued guidance, design input, and experience. We are proud to continue CRSA's legacy of good design grounded in function, practicality, and collaboration.
CRSA Architecture was founded by Craig R. Smith, AIA in 1986, and their award-winning work can be found throughout California's Central Coast. CRSA's work has been defined by a process of collaboration that results in the efficient delivery of intentional, functional, and beautiful designs. CRSA has been proud to offer work that is noteworthy not only for their designs, but also as practical solutions within the client's time and budget constraints. It is our commitment to continue this legacy.
Prior to founding Hunter Smith Architecture, Dana Hunter worked for CRSA for ten years as a Draftsman, Project Manager, and finally Associate Architect. Dana was an integral part of the team that brought several of CRSA's most noteworthy projects to life.
Moving forward, we will continue to offer unique and practical design solutions uniquely situated to each client's needs and constraints.
